The WorldSkills Barbados Juniors Future Skills Camp is an initiative for students ages 14 - 18 that aims to help them develop basic professional skills and make insightful career choices in an ever-changing labour market. You’re invited to choose one of the following interesting skills below in which to participate!


Camp runs from September 6-10, 2021 from 9am - 1pm daily.


The cost is BBD $100 via any SurePay location or online.


Interactive sessions will be held online via Zoom.

3D Digital Game Art

The 3D Digital Game Artist creates three-dimensional models and assets that differ depending on the type of game, and is responsible for every aspect, from taking a designer’s brief to using creative, technical, and specialist skills to deliver assets in a marketable game.

Where can I pay for the Future Skills Camp?
Payments can ONLY be made at any SurePay location islandwide or SurePay online. Please note that NO money will be collected at the TVET Council office. Payments will be available from Monday, August 23, 2021 at all SurePay locations islandwide and online.

When will the Future Skills Camp be held?
The Future Skills Camp begins September 6 and runs until September 10 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. daily.

Interactive sessions will be held online via ZOOM Cloud Meetings.

Please note - Students are allowed to register for only ONE skill.
What will I get at the end of the camp?
At the end of the camp participants who take part in the mini competition will obtain a skills passport. All participants will also be presented with a Certificate of Participation.
What is a skills passport?
A skills passport is a tool or document allowing people to record their skills, competences and knowledge. These can be the result of formal, informal or non-formal learning. Skills Passports are internationally recognised.
